Firm reduction completely overshadows the underlying fruit. The middle weight flavors present contrasting textures of mid-palate succulence with almost painful intensity along with ample minerality on the sappy, powerful and focused finale that is youthfully austere and hugely persistent. This classy effort is terrific though note well that it's unlikely to be an especially good early drinker.
